Coach Sofield and the 18th rank Sand Sharks officially start practice January 4th. The team reports on the 3rd to be issued practice gear and move into the lockeroom in Hardeeville for the 2011 season. Practice starts on the 4th @ 1pm after a  team meeting in the morning. The Sand Shark open at Union in Tennessee on February 5 with DH. The home opener is on February 9th vs. # 21 Brewton Parker @ 2pm.
