Hardeeville, SC - Amidst the raindrops at Sand Shark Park on Saturday, USCB softball split their TSC doubleheader vs. the Ave Maria Gyrenes. The Sand Sharks won game 1 by a 13-2 score, but dropped the rain-delayed 2nd game 7-4. The loss was the Sand Sharks' first loss at home this season. In game 1, all-time hits leader
Kayla Boyle took another place in the record book as she became the all-time doubles leader, passing Mariah Sanborn with her 47th career 2-base hit.
The Sand Sharks' overall record is now 31-7, and they are 11-5 in The Sun Conference.
In game 1,Canyon Crosby picked up her 6th win of the year, and
Shania Domingue went 2 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs to lead the offense.
