Not wasting any time, USCB tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the second. Gaskin started the rally, and after a sac bunt, Walker reached base to put runners on the corners. Miller scored the runner from third on a ground out to make the game 3-2. After a wild pitch, Smith plated Walker to tie the game at 3-3.Â
The USCB offense was then unstoppable, as it tacked on 10 more unanswered runs from the third inning-on. Walker earned a run-scoring hit in the fifth for USCB to give the Sand Sharks their second lead of the contest. In the fourth, Reynolds and Gaskin poked run-scoring doubles to take the 8-3 lead, and in the fifth, Freeman and Reynolds combined for five RBIs to seal the run-rule victory over the Lions, 13-3.Â

After a sac bunt, Miller scored the game's first run on a run-scoring single. After an out, Weller made it hurt with a bases-clearing, two-run double to take the 3-0 lead. Alte capped off the scoring with a RBI single up the middle, as the hit made it a 4-0 game.
USCB's offense sputtered in the third and fourth innings, but it was still able to put runners on base - combined for four runners left on base. Florida Memorial took advantage with a solo run in the top of the fourth to make a three-run contest, 4-1.
Moving into the bottom of the fifth, the Sand Sharks pushed the lead to six - 7-1. Smith collected a two RBI triple, and Alte came up big, again, with a RBI single.
