BABSON PARK, Fla. - To end a three-game conference series versus RV (receiving votes) Webber International, the USCB softball team fell, 3-0 and 12-3, on Saturday at Nancy Nichols Field.

HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
Webber International plated two runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a two-RBI double from Witney Bones.
In the bottom of the third, Kelsea Friend tacked on an insurance run via a USCB error.
Four Sand Sharks were only able to reach base in the seven-inning contest - two walks from Mackenzie Freeman and Harlee Walker, an error and a hit by pitch. However, no Sand Sharks were able to score in the 3-0 loss.

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
Webber's offense started the game red hit by plating seven innings in the bottom of the first inning. The Warriors used five hits, an error and two walks to account for the seven-run frame.
The Sand Sharks were able to chip away with solo runs in the second, third and fourth innings. Reynolds connected with a solo homer in the second. Freeman cracked a RBI double in the third, and Coleman collected a RBI on her single through the right side.
After Toole was able to hold the Warriors of the scoreboard for four straight innings, WIU plated five runs in the bottom of the sixth to run rule USCB, 12-3.

The Sand Sharks will take six days of rest before continuing their road trip from April 1-2. USCB will travel to St. Thomas with a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 5 p.m. before concluding the series on Saturday at noon.
