Jake Lane joins coach Terica Harris' coaching staff in 2024 as the program's assistant coach. Lane will primarily work with the team's distance athletes.
A four-year letterman at Winthrop, Lane competed in multiple events for the Eagles. He set personal bests of 20:42.5 in the 5K and 30:11.3 in the 8K, During the track and field season he competed in the the 800m, 1000m, 1500m, Mile, and 3000m events setting strong PRs in those events.
After graduation, coach Lane went on to earn his Master's in Education at Bethany College in 2024 where he served as the Graduate Assistant and Interim Head Cross Country/Track & Field coach.
