Magnolia enters her third season as the Athletic Training Support Dog at the University of South Carolina Beaufort, having joined the Sports Medicine team in 2023. A beloved presence within the department, Magnolia brings comfort and joy to student-athletes and staff, playing a quiet yet meaningful role in promoting wellness across Sand Shark Athletics.

Often seen at home athletic events and around campus, Magnolia helps foster a positive and welcoming environment. Her calming presence is especially appreciated during busy training and competition days, and she has become a familiar and cherished figure among Sand Shark student-athletes.

A pit bull–terrier mix born in Macon, Georgia, Magnolia was adopted by USCB athletic trainer Cat Pribbenow and named after Pribbenow’s favorite tree growing up. Now calling Bluffton home, Magnolia remains a loyal companion and an important part of the Sand Shark family.
