Makenzie Fore, a former Sand Shark student-athlete, returns to USCB as an assistant coach in 2025.

A two-year starter at USCB, Fore notched a career .986 fielding percentage as an everyday first baseman. In her senior campaign, Fore helped lead the Sand Sharks to a 29-24 record, highlighted by a senior weekend series win against North Georgia (No.8) to secure the program’s first post-season berth in its NCAA era. In a double-header against Savannah State, Fore blasted a pair of home runs, while driving in seven to help USCB pick up two run-rule victories. In two seasons with the Sand Sharks, Fore batted .234, scoring 41 runs, with 9 doubles, 42 RBI, slugging .487, and drawing a team-leading 51 walks over two years. In her senior year, Fore was named a team captain and a recipient of the Alexandria Simmons Spirit Award, this award is deemed the program’s highest honor.
 
Prior to USCB, Fore played at Eastern Florida State College (NJCAA D1). In two seasons with the Titans, she hit .366, slugged .525, scored 62 runs, with 21 doubles, 60 rbi, 88 walks, and 8 homeruns. Fore was named to the All-Southern Conference team in her sophomore year. Fore was named Region 8 Player of the week April 11, 2023.
 
Fore graduated from USCB in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with hopes to become a speech pathologist. Fore was twice named to the PBC Presidential Honor Roll.
 
An Oviedo, Florida native where she was a four-year letter winner at Oviedo High School.
