USCB Softball Drops Doubleheader at Georgia Gwinnett

Lawrenceville, GA– USCB softball dropped both ends of their doubleheader on Sunday against NAIA #5 Georgia Gwinnett Grizzlies by scores of 8-1 and 6-0. Kinsey Sords started game 1 for the Sand Sharks and took the loss, with Maria Molloseau pitching in relief. In game 2, Abby Pac (5-2) started for USCB and pitched 4 innings, taking the loss. Sloan Ducey pitched the final 2 innings. 
 
Game 1 Notes: 
* Taylor Boykin, Shania Domingue, and Kaitlyn O'Hearn collected a hit apiece 
 
Game 2 Notes: 
* Natassja Hatcher went 2 for 3 
* Kayla Boyle, Taylor Boykin, Shania Domingue, Haley Hawkins, Rachel Frankhouser, and Kaleigh Furbush each had hits 
 
USCB Softball travels to Ave Maria, FL on Thursday, the 14th, for a TSC doubleheader against the Ave Maria Gyrenes. They continue TSC play on Saturday, the 16th, with a doubleheader against the St. Thomas Bobcats in Miami Gardens, FL. Stay tuned to uscbathletics.com.
