HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - In its final tuneup before retuning to Sun Conference action, USCB baseball fell to St. Andrews, 13-3, on Wednesday afternoon at Richard Gray Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
St. Andrews opened the contest with 10 unanswered runs in the first three innings. USCB collected two hits in the first three frames, as the offense struggled to get momentum going early.
After holding SAU scoreless for the first time in the game, USCB's offense rattled off three runs on three hits and an error in the bottom of the fourth. Searles plated Humphrey on a RBI single with no outs. Russ scored on a wild pitch, and Justin Owen capped off the scoring with two outs on a run-scoring ground out.
The Sand Sharks had several chances to add to their run total, as it combined for five runners left on base in the fifth and sixth innings.
The Knights ended the contest with a three-run seventh inning to push their lead to 10, 13-3.

USCB welcomes No. 4 St. Thomas to Hardeeville for a league series beginning on Friday, March 13. The two clubs will play a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday and will conclude the set on Saturday at noon.
