TAMPA, Fla. - Six USCB softball student-athletes were named to the Sun Conference All-Academic team, as Taylor Boykin, Rachel Catt, Emily Martin, Maria Molloseau, Kaitlyn O'Hearn and Emily Phillips displayed excellence in the classroom.

To be named to the Sun Conference All-Academic team, the student-athlete must have been at USCB for two or more full semesters and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 or higher. 

Senior O'Hearn and junior Molloseau were the only two Sand Sharks that posted an unblemished 4.00 GPA. O'Hearn graduated from USCB with a degree in psychology, while Molloseau majors in biology. Phillips nearly has a 4.0, as she totes a 3.961 GPA with a degree in hospitality management. Catt also sported an impressive GPA (3.81), as she graduated from USCB with a degree in English. Boykin also had a strong 3.731 GPA with her degree in public health, and to round out the honorees, Martin graduated from USCB with a 3.643 cumulative GPA, as she earned a degree in hospitality management.
