HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - Due to the COVID concerns within the softball program, the USCB Department of Athletics announced it is pausing all softball team activities for seven days.

As a result of this pause, Sand Shark softball will postpone its weekend matchups with No. 10 Georgia Gwinnett and Sun Conference foe Thomas.

Makeup dates for the four games, as well as the doubleheader with Middle Georgia State, are still being decided and will be announced when finalized.

The Sand Shark team, as well as the entire USCB Athletics Department, is following local, university, The Sun Conference and NAIA COVID-19 protocols to prioritize the health and safety of its student-athletes, coaches and staff.
