BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – The University of South Carolina Beaufort softball team had 18 student-athletes named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes for the 2025-26 academic year.
These academic honors are awarded to softball student-athletes who achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic year. As a team, the Sand Shark softball program finished the spring semester with a 3.601 GPA.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic achievements of softball teams and student-athletes across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,637 student-athletes earning a 3.5 GPA or higher for 2025-26. NCAA Division III followed with 2,491, while NCAA Division II had 1,869. Junior colleges and NAIA had 1,190 and 655 student-athletes, respectively.
