BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA — The University of South Carolina Beaufort Softball Head Coach Codee Yeske has been appointed as a member of the NCAA Division II and III Softball Rules Committee, beginning a four-year term in September 2026.
"I'm excited for the opportunity to serve Division II softball in a different capacity. As coaches, we spend much of our time focused on our own programs, so having the chance to contribute to conversations that impact the game as a whole is something I'm looking forward to," stated Codee Yeske. "I'm proud to represent USCB, our student-athletes, and the Peach Belt Conference, and I'm excited to learn from coaches and administrators across the country while doing my part to help move our game forward."
Yeske's term will run through August 31, 2030, during which she will serve alongside seven other members representing NCAA Division II and Division III softball.
The NCAA Softball Rules Committee is responsible for reviewing and developing playing rules for the sport, as well as considering proposals and recommendations that help guide the game at the collegiate level. Committee members contribute their knowledge and experience to help maintain consistency and advance the sport of softball across the NCAA.
The NCAA Playing Rules Committees help oversee the rules of competition across NCAA sports. Committee members from member schools and conferences collaborate to review rules, evaluate recommendations and help support fair and safe competition.
The appointment comes as Yeske enters her sixth season leading the Sand Sharks. Under her direction, USCB recently finished the season with 30 wins and advanced to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament.
Yeske has helped establish USCB as a competitive program since taking over the Sand Sharks, and her appointment to the NCAA Rules Committee provides an opportunity to bring her coaching experience and perspective to the national level.
