WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The USCB baseball team dropped a doubleheader road contest to No. 8 Keiser, 14-3 and 7-1, on Friday at Silvester Field in West Palm Beach.

Nick Milhan - 2-for-3, two singles, RBI
Wesley Ambrose - 1-for-3, single, RBI
Kyran Russ - 1-for-3, one run
HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
USCB started the game quickly with a two-run first inning. Leandy Castro started the rally by reaching on an error, and Russ singled through the left side to put two runners on base. After a strikeout, Milhan plated Castro via a RBI single to left. Ambrose followed with another two-out, run-scoring hit to take the 2-0 lead.
The nationally-ranked offense plated seven combined runs in the first and second innings to take the five-run lead, 7-2.
The Sand Sharks made it a four-run game in the top of the third, when Milhan, again, collected a clutch, two-out RBI single. He scored Tavaris Terrell from first base from the hit and a fielding error.
The Seahawk offense rattled off seven runs in the final three innings to win the first game, 14-3. The Sand Sharks tallied one hit in both the fifth and sixth innings, but they couldn't plate runs in the loss.

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
Matt Malatesta started on the bump for USCB, and he was lights out in the first two frames. He allowed just one hit, which came in the bottom of the second.
The Sand Shark offense couldn't take advantage of the dominant pitching from Malatesta, as it was held scoreless as well in the first two innings.
The scoreless stretch was broken in the bottom of the third when No. 8 Keiser plated five runs off two hits, three walks and one hit-by-pitch.
KU added one more run in the bottom of the sixth to make it a 6-0 contest.
The two clubs struggled to find offense for the next five half-innings, as both teams went 1-2-3 from the top of the sixth to the top of the eighth.
KU added one more run in the bottom of the eighth with a solo home run.
USCB responded with one run in the top of the ninth, as Castro connected with a solo home run. It wasn't enough though, as USCB fell 7-1 to the Seahawks.
