BLUFFTON, S.C. - To end the regular season, RV (receiving votes) USCB women's soccer dropped just its second home match at home all year, as the Sand Sharks slipped to RV Georgia Gwinnett, 3-1, at Fin Land Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Sand Sharks dominated the first 15 minutes, as they had several chances to rippled the net.
One of the best opportunities came in the 15th minute when Matusik ripped a shot from inside the 18-yard box, but the shot on goal was saved.
Also in the opening 15 minutes, USCB collected a pair of corner kicks.
USCB also found another chance in the 22nd minute when it drew a corner kick. Mari Kalvatn took the corner, and Lexi Kaeser hit the post on her shot attempt. Keaton Neal found the rebound, but Neal's shot was saved again.
Just over a minute later, GGC scored the game's first goal in the 24th minute. Victoria Watson tallied the goal for GGC.
Unfortunately for USCB, the Grizzlies added another goal in the 27th minute, as Natalie Ferrin doubled GGC's goal total.
With just under four minutes remaining in the first half, Georgia Gwinnett made it a three-score contest when Grace Bullock worked her way on to the scoresheet.
Despite being down 3-0, USCB was being narrowly outshot, 10-5, and held an advantage in corners, 4-2.
Similar to the first half, USCB had a pair of chances to find the net, as Shartouny and Matusik took shots on goal in the opening eight minutes of the second half. However, the GGC goalkeeper made the saves.
With only 25 seconds remaining in regulation, a Grizzly forced a foul in USCB's half. Wood took the free kick from distance, and Foshee snuck through GGC's centrebacks. Going one-v-one with the Grizzly goalkeeper, Foshee snuck the shot past the keep to make it a 3-1 contest.
Unfortunately, USCB couldn't tally any more goals, as it fell - 3-1.
