TOCCOA -- The USCB men's golf team finished tied atop the leaderboard at 7-over and Nikolai Holme carded at 1-over final round to place second in the Currahee Collegiate Invitational Tuesday afternoon.
Beaufort sat in first place with a 3-under score after Monday's first 36 holes but shot 10-over as a team in the final round with a score of 871.
The Sand Sharks finished tied with the 14th ranked Columbus State Cougars to claim the co-champion tournament title.
Holme's 73 score led the way for the Sand Sharks. He started his round with back-to-back bogeys and sat at 5-over through 9. After making the turn he would find his groove, picking up five birdies on the back nine.
Erik Rengardt was 2-over moving on to hole 10 after a double bogey on number 7 but finished with a birdie on the par 4 first to finish with a 74 and tied for fifth.
Eric Nord and Aaron Williams carded rounds of 76 and 76 respectively while Ellis Bright shot 78.
USCB will break for the rest of the semester and will begin their championship season on Feb. 2 at the Thomas Sharkey Indivudal in Statesboro.
