Four drop double-figures in loss to Allen

BLUFFTON – Brielle Bartelt, Lydia Gattozzi, Kay'Mar Griffin, and Elly Lewis each scored in double figures, but the Sand Sharks shot 40 percent from the field and fell to the Allen Yellowjackets 87-63 Thursday night at the Cove.

After a rough first quarter where USCB only scored five points, the Sand Sharks kept it close through the remaining three quarters being outscored by only 10 points.

Beaufort travels to Augusta, Georgia to play Paine on Saturday with a 1 p.m. scheduled tip-off.
