BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Sand Sharks continued their strong start to the 2025 season with an impressive 7-1 victory over Edward Waters on Thursday afternoon. USCB jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and never looked back, adding four second half goals behind a standout hat trick performance from Jasiah Pack.
With the win, the Sand Sharks improve to 3-0 on the season and remain undefeated (3-0) all-time against Edward Waters.

USC Beaufort was led by Jasiah Pack, who recorded a hat trick. Additional goals came from Sophia Willis, Kasey Thompson, Savanna Page, and Izzy Amphlett, who also tallied two assists on the day. Eva Craney-Barnie added two assists as well, both coming on the final two goals of the match. Additional assists were from Jenny Hesby, Zoe Buerger, and Lauren Carmichael.
Pack opened the scoring early in the first half, capitalizing on a corner kick opportunity by scoring off the second shot of the possession. Moments later, Izzy Amphlett regained possession and set up Savanna Page for her second goal of the season, giving the Sand Sharks a 2-0 lead.
At the 18-minute mark, Amphlett extended the lead to 3-0, scoring off a corner kick assisted by Lauren Carmichael before sending it to the back of the net.
Edward Waters responded with their only goal of the match, as Maya Carmona found the back of the net following a takeaway, cutting the deficit to 3-1 which would be the halftime score.
The Sand Sharks controlled possession early in the second half and were rewarded as Amphlett found Pack for her second goal, extending the lead to 4-1.
USCB continued to apply pressure, and it paid off again as a cross pass from Hesby found Pack, who completed her hat trick and gave the Sand Sharks a 5-1 lead.
Just minutes later, a throw-in led to two quick passes from Craney-Barnie and Buerger, setting up Kasey Thompson for the sixth goal of the match.
The final goal came in the 75th minute, as Craney-Barnie notched her second assist, this time setting up Sophia Willis for the 7-1 scoreline. The win marks the most goals scored by the Sand Sharks in a match since October 14, 2023 in an 8-2 win.

The Sand Sharks return to action at home on Sunday, September 14th, for the second of three straight home games. Match is scheduled to start at 12:00 PM against Palm Beach Atlantic.
