BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA — University of South Carolina Beaufort men's cross country athlete Zachery Vowles has been named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week for his performance at the Upstate Invite in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Vowles finished the race with a new collegiate personal best and season-best time in the 8K. He crossed the finish line in 26:31.0, surpassing his previous season-best time set at the Chanticleer Challenge.

The Sand Sharks will next compete on November 7 at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Cross Country Championship in Macon, Georgia.
