CLEVELAND, TENNESSEE — The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's golf team concluded its opening tournament of the season at the City with Spirit Fall Classic at Cleveland Country Club in Tennessee.

The Sand Sharks finished tied for 12th overall after posting a three-round total of 945, with round scores of 311-320-314. Lincoln Memorial was the overall tournament leader on Tuesday.

Manon Tortelier led the Sand Sharks, finishing tied for 38th on the leaderboard with a final-round score of 76, matching her best round of the tournament. Tortelier finished with rounds of 76-81-76 for a total of 233. She recorded six birdies through three rounds, tying for the team high, and added 29 pars.

Melinda Hsu finished second for the Sand Sharks, tying for 50th overall with a total of 236 after carding a 79 in the final round. Hsu recorded three birdies and 31 pars over the three rounds.

Keira Wolf finished tied for 59th overall with a total of 238 after posting rounds of 80-78-80. Wolf recorded one birdie and a team-high 34 pars.

Camila Giordani finished tied for 68th overall with a total of 241. She posted her best rounds of the tournament in the first and third rounds, carding a 79 in each. Giordani recorded one birdie and 31 pars at the City with Spirit Fall Classic.

Kate Gunnells finished 75th overall with a total of 244 after carding an 84 in the final round. Her best round of the tournament was a 79. Gunnells recorded six birdies through three rounds, tying for the team high, and added 23 pars.

Competing as an individual, Brooke Niclaus finished tied for 46th overall with a total of 235 after posting rounds of 81-77-77. Niclaus finished the tournament with four birdies and 33 pars over the three rounds.

The Sand Sharks will next compete at the Savannah Lakes Invitational, hosted by Lander University, in McCormick, South Carolina, at Savannah Lakes Village.
