MCCORMICK, SOUTH CAROLINA — The University of South Carolina Beaufort Women's Golf team closed out the Savannah Lakes Women's Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The USCB Sand Sharks finished tied for 14th overall in the tournament.

USCB finished the three-round tournament with a total score of 950 (320-312-318), tying for 14th overall. North Georgia finished first in the team standings, while Sarah Reed of Lander led the individual leaderboard.

The Sand Sharks were led by Keira Wolf, who finished tied for 52nd overall at 17-over par. Wolf's best round was a 76 in the second round before finishing with a 78 in the final round. She recorded three birdies and a team-high 33 pars through three rounds.

Manon Tortelier was next for the Sand Sharks, placing tied for 62nd overall after the 54-hole tournament. She totaled 237, with her best round being a 77 in the second round before finishing with a 78 in the final round. Tortelier recorded 32 pars and two birdies through three rounds.

Third for USCB was Camila Giordani, who finished tied for 73rd overall with a total of 242. Giordani's best rounds were even-par 80s in the first two rounds before closing the tournament with an 82. She finished with a team-high four birdies and 24 pars over three rounds.

Melinda Hsu was fourth for the Sand Sharks, totaling 243. Her best round was a 79 in the opening round before closing the tournament with an 81. Hsu recorded three birdies and 24 pars through three rounds. She tied for 77th overall with Brooke Niclaus.

Niclaus also totaled 243, with her best round being a 79 in the second round before closing the tournament with an 81 in the final round. Niclaus finished with three birdies and 27 pars overall.

The Sand Sharks will return to action on October 12 at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial, hosted by North Georgia in Dahlonega, Georgia. The tournament will be a two-day event.
