The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's soccer team hits the road for the first time in 2013 on Saturday, traveling to face sister school USC Aiken for the first time. The Sand Sharks look to get back in the win column after suffering their first two defeats of the season last weekend, falling 1-0 to Milligan (Tenn.) and 5-2 to Hastings (Neb.).Â

ABOUT USC AIKEN
The Pacers were picked to finish 10th among 12 teams in the NCAA Division II Peach Belt Conference after going 4-11-3 last season. They ended the 2012 campaign with five straight losses and opened the 2013 season with a 4-1 defeat against NCAA Division II No. 15 Rollins on Thursday.Â

• Despite a 1-2-1 record, the Sand Sharks have outscored their opponents by an aggregate of 9-8 and outshot their opponents 74-52 overall and 42-28 in shots on goal.Â
• Junior midfielder Alexa Muffley already has compiled eight points (3 goals, 2 assists), which is only two points shy of the single-season program record set by Jessica Tooley last season. Â
• USCB is 1-2 all-time against in-state opponents, going 1-0 vs. Converse College and 0-2 vs. Columbia College. The Sand Sharks are 4-10 all-time on the road, including a 1-1 mark when playing away from home but staying in the Palmetto State.
