Hardeeville, SC-- The USCB baseball team completed the series sweet of Fisher College (Mass.) this afternoon at Richard Gray Sports Complex, defeating the Falcons 9-8.

Alex Murphy got the scoring started for the Sand Sharks with a sacrifice fly in the first inning to score
Cole Hamilton, who was hit by pitch in his leadoff role. Noah
Noah Matthews scored in the second inning off a fielders choice. Matthews would later score Murphy in the third inning when he hit a triple to left-center.
Fisher College found two runs in the fourth inning before USCB added three more runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Nick Delbianco picked up the sacrifice fly to score
Keith Olmo, Matthews then added his own sacrifice fly to score Murphy, and
Kelvin Brito then singled to center field to score
Chris Vazquez.Â
USCBÂ later added three more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning before Fisher was able to put together a five-run rally in the eighth.
Kevin Ortiz-Arroyo picked up the save by coming in and retiring the last six batters for the Falcons.
Daniel Wagner earned the win in the game.
The Sand Sharks will welcome the Knights of No. 15 Middle Georgia State this coming Tuesday in a single game set for 3 pm at Richard Gray.
