Lake Wales, Fla.-- The USCB baseball team fell in seven innings to host Warner University this afternoon at Royals Field 3-13.
The Royals used a five-run second inning to put the score beyond reach for the Sand Sharks as Warner improved to 3-4 in TSC play while USCB fell to 2-6.
The Sand Sharks were able to plate one run in the top half of the second inning when
Tristan Triplett singled up the middle to score
Nick Delbianco. USCBÂ was able to put two more runs across the plate before succumbing to the pitching strength of the Royals in the top half of the seventh.
Keith Olmo was able to reach on a single to right field before being able make his way around the bases thanks to a walk to
Alex Murphy and a wild pitch. Olmo then came home via fielder's choice off the bat Delbianco.
Noah Matthews then singled to left center that scored Murphy.
The Sand Sharks will take on the Royals tomorrow for a double-header beginning at 11 am. Live stats and video can be found atÂ
