West Palm Beach, Fla.-- The USCB women's soccer team, coming off a mandatory week off due to Hurricane Florence last week, suffered a 0-6 loss at No. 9 Keiser University this afternoon in southern Florida.
The Sand Sharks struggled to get their legs going, and the Seahawks capitalized in the 11th minute when Filippa Millqvist nestled a shot into the corner. Millqvist proved to be the undoing for the USCB defense, as she struck again in the 20th minute and then completed the hat trick in the 54th minute.
Matilda Ovenberger put away the Seahawks' fourth goal in the 71st minute after a series of mishaps in the box led to the Ovenberger strike into the side netting. Kristine

-Larsen and Caroline Schroeder added the last two marks to complete the scoring for Keiser.
"We always have to look at the positives, and we continue to grow as a team. It was a hard game to play coming back from the break, but Keiser are a solid team, and allowing a goal so early meant we had to change our game plan. We will work on our flaws and get ready for Warner on Wednesday," said interim head coach
Jay Harris after the game.
Junior goalkeeper
Logan Leask continues to be impressive in the early going of the season. On the game, Leask faced 44 shots (27 on goal) and collected 19 saves.
USCB will travel to Warner University for a 6:00 pm kickoff on Wednesday evening.
