BABSON PARK, Fla. - For its sixth shutout of the 2019 season, USCB women's soccer claimed a 3-0 road win at Webber International on Wednesday, as Teyah Lindo collected her first multi-goal game in a Sand Shark uniform.

HOW IT HAPPENED
USCB opened the game with two solid chances at goal in the fifth and ninth minutes. Sydney Metzold and Anna Gignilliat took the shots, but the attempts didn't find the back of the net.
In the 16th minute, Lindo netted the go-ahead goal for USCB. Following a corner, Newman connected a pass to Lindo, who then drove her shot into the corner of the net to take the 1-0 lead.
For the next eight minutes, USCB continued to pepper the Webber net, as the Sand Sharks took six shots with three on frame.
In the 41st minute, USCB had a chance to double its lead when Eva Hormazabal took a free kick from outside of the Webber 18-yard box. She drilled the shot with her right foot, but the attempt was saved.
Five minutes into the second half, the Sand Sharks eventually doubled their lead when Lindo posted her first multi-goal game of the year. Gherardi connected with a through pass to Lindo on the right side of the field. After gaining possession, Lindo saw the Warrior goalkeeper out of position. She lofted her shot over the goalkeeper's head and into the WIU net.
After a quiet 11-minute span, Ljosland scored the dagger in the 61st minute for the Sand Sharks. After working through the WIU defense, Ljosland chipped the ball over the pressing Warrior goalkeeper and into the open net.
Webber International didn't give in, as for the next 29 minutes, the Warriors connected with six shots on goal. However, Leask stayed strong and sealed the shutout for USCB.

The Sand Sharks will conclude the regular season on Saturday, Nov. 2 at noon, as they will host their annual Senior Day against No. 4 Southeastern. The four seniors that will be honored are Moa Johansson, Gignilliat, Rileigh Olsen and Leask.
