Soccer Entertains Warner at Home on Wednesday

BLUFFTON, S.C. - To conclude a two-game home stand, USCB soccer looks to get back in the win column on Wednesday, Oct. 9, as the Sand Sharks will entertain Warner at Fin Land Field for a noon kickoff.

About USCB

USCB returns to the pitch with a 4-5 overall record and a 0-2 mark in Sun Conference games. It is the first time this year the Sand Sharks have been below .500.

The Sand Sharks have struggled early in league play, as they have yet to record a goal against conference foes. They have had plenty of chances, as they are averaging 10.5 shots per game. League rivals are averaging three goals per game against USCB and have averaged 10.5 shots on goal per game.

Nine Sand Sharks have recorded a goal this year, and seven of those players have tallied multiple goals. Senior forward Anna Gignilliat leads the team with seven goals, which is already tied for the fifth-most in a single season.

Logan Leask continues to man the net for USCB, as the senior has started all nine games. She has a sub-2.00 goals against average and has recorded 32 saves in 745 minutes of action.
