Hardeeville, SC– USCB baseball rallied for 7 runs on Saturday in the bottom of the 8th inning against their TSC rivals, the Warner University Royals, but fell just short in another hard-fought game at Sand Shark Park, losing 10-8.
Steven Mojica led USCB's offense, going a perfect 3 for 3 at the plate with 3 RBIs, including a double and a clutch 2-run single that capped the 7-run 8th inning.
Bobby Wenthe also had a good day, going 3 for 4 and bringing in a run with a key bases loaded walk.
Nick DelBianco and
Tavaris Terrell each collected 2 hits, with DelBianco adding an RBI.
Harrison Merck started the game for the Sand Sharks and took the loss, pitching 1 1/3 innings.

Brandon Brown, and
Harrison Bell all pitched in relief.

USCB baseball travels to Cochran, GA on Tuesday, the 19th, to face 8
thranked Middle Georgia College in a doubleheader. The team travels to south Florida later in the week for a TSC series in Miami against 10
thranked St. Thomas on Friday and Saturday. The two teams play a doubleheader on Friday, the 22nd, and a single game on Saturday, the 23rd. The Sand Sharks return to Sand Shark Park on Tuesday, the 26th, to face Benedict. Stay tuned to uscbathletics.com.
