HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
BPC led just once in either game, and it came with early offense. The Barons plated a pair of runs in the first to take the 2-0 lead.
That lead was quickly cut in half in the bottom of the first, as Castro demolished the first pitch he saw for a solo home run. The solo blast was the eighth of the season, which places him in a tie for fourth all-time in a single season at USCB.
The next two-and-a-half innings went by quickly, and in the bottom of the fourth, the Sand Sharks garnered their first lead of the day - 3-2. Milhan combined for both runs, as he collected a RBI double and eventually touched home on a wild pitch.
Sasseville found himself in trouble in the fifth inning after quickly getting two outs. He forced the bases loaded after two singles and a walk, but he stayed poised on the mound, as he forced a pop out to strand three Barons and hold on to the 3-2 lead.
USCB supported him with a three-run bottom of the fifth to push the lead to four, 6-2. With two outs, Humphrey and Milhan combined for all three runs in the frame, as Humphrey delivered the back-breaking two-RBI double.
After a scoreless sixth, Collins came in relief, and he worked through four Baron batters en route to sealing the 6-2 win for USCB.

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
After both teams left one runner on base in the first, USCB's offense found another gear, as it erupted for seven runs in the second inning. Milhan started the rally with a walk, and TK Kennedy put two runners on thanks to a hit-by-pitch. Wood and Ambrose followed back-to-back with RBI singles to left fiel to push the lead to two. After a fielder's choice and a wild pitch, Sellers walked to force the bases loaded. Russ and Humphrey posted back-to-back hits with Humphrey clearing the bases on a three RBI double to deep center field. Milhan capped off the scoring with a RBI single to give USCB the 7-0 advantage.
USCB's offense didn't stop there, as it saw its lead blossom to nine via a two-run third inning. Castro collected a sacrifice fly, and Sellers doubled to right center to make the game 9-0.Â
After allowing a pair of runs in the fourth, USCB responded with two runs of its own in the bottom of the fourth.Â
Brewton-Parker answered with a lone run in the top of the fifth, but again, USCB retaliated with a pair of runs in the home half of the same inning.Â
After five innings, USCB held a 10-run lead on BPC, 13-3.
Judy and Lawler pitched the final two innings for the Sand Sharks. They allowed four combined hits in the final two frames, but the Barons couldn't capitalize, as they fell to the Sand Sharks in game two, 13-3.Â
