HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
After a quiet first inning, WIU opened the scoring with a crooked number, three runs, to take the lead in the second inning.
However, the Warrior lead quickly disappeared, as the Sand Sharks put up a crooked number of their own - four runs - in the third. Brevon Harper started the inning with a single, and Justin Owen came in to pinch run. Sorbara followed suit with a double down the left field line, which plated Owen from first. After a strikeout and a walk, Castro ripped a single up the middle to make it a one-run game. Russ followed with a walk to force the bases loaded, and Humphrey connected with a RBI single to keep the bases loaded and to tie the game, 3-3. Milhan capped off the four-run inning for the Sand Sharks, as he connected with a sacrifice fly.
After WIU threatened to plate runs in the bottom of the third, the Warriors tallied a run in the bottom of the fourth, and the run knotted the game at 4-all.
USCB had a chance to plate runs in the fifth, as it put two runners in scoring position, but the Sand Sharks left them there.Â
WIU took advantage of the USCB missed opportunity with a solo run in the bottom of the sixth. The run advance the lead to one, 5-4.Â
The Sand Sharks, again, had a chance to tie or take the lead in the seventh when Milhan and Tavaris Terrell reached base safely via a single and a walk, respectively. Unfortunately, they couldn't score in the one-run game. Â
After a scoreless eighth, the Sand Sharks finally tied the game in the final inning at 5-5. Castro reached base on a dropped-third strike, and Russ took advantage with a ringing double down the left field line. Castro hustled around the bases to touch home to knot the game.
Perry came in to pitch in the bottom of the ninth. He walked a pair of Warriors, but he left them on first and second to force extra innings.Â
USCB sent out four batters to the plate in the 10th but couldn't score. Fortunately, Webber International didn't score either, as it left a pair of runners on base.
In the 11th inning, USCB's offense went down 1-2-3, and WIU scored the game-winning run off a sacrifice fly from Steven Lugo.

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
Unlike in game one, WIU was able to score the game's first run in the home half of the first - a solo run. The run was scored off Rougie Odor's bat via a RBI double.
USCB nearly threatened to plate runs in the top of the second, but it left the bases loaded.Â
Just an inning later though, the Sand Sharks tallied three runs off four hits and an error. Sellers started the rally with a single, and Meyer put two runners in scoring position with a double. Castro traded places on a run-down out at home, but Russ came up clutch with a towering two RBI double to right center. After a strikeout and a Milhan single, Daniel Searles plated Russ from third to give USCB the two-run lead, 3-1.Â
The Warriors retaliated with just one run in the bottom of the third, as they made it a 3-2 contest.Â
After a scoreless fourth, USCB went on a 4-0 run in the fifth and sixth innings to take the commanding five-run lead, 7-2. Humphrey collected a RBI double in the fifth, and Castro and Humphrey combined for three RBIs in the top of the sixth.Â
USCB's offense struggled for the remainder of the contest, and WIU tried to mount a comeback - down five. WIU's best chance came in the eighth frame when it posted a hit and an error. However, Saenz worked out of the jam to hold the lead.
