ORANGEBURG, S.C. - A little bit of history occurred Saturday afternoon in Orangeburg for USCB women's soccer Head Coach Jay Harris. After the Sand Sharks shutout the South Carolina State Bulldogs, 3-0, Harris earned his 48th career victory tying Ed Heberling for the all-time wins record.

How it Happened
The Sand Sharks were aggressive from the opening kickoff, scoring all three of its goals in the first half.
Kalvatn put USCB on the board first scoring off a ball from Martin. Bye-Anderson followed with a header coming via a cross from Page. The freshman forward added a second tally in the assist column, aiding on Harris' header.
After collecting the 10th win of the season, Harris is now tied all-time for most wins in USCB women's soccer history. He has been at the helm for almost five complete seasons and is averaging over nine-and-a-half wins a season. This also marks the third straight season USCB has won double-digit games.

"It was important to get back to winning ways, and we done just that with a clinical attacking performance, as well as a clean sheet. This performance will give us confidence in the final stage of the season, but we can be better and need to continue to work hard in training and finish the season strong".
