HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - In games two and three of the four-game series with Georgetown College, the Tigers upended the USCB baseball team, 5-4 and 12-5, on Friday afternoon at Richard Gray Stadium.

HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
USCB's offense worked quickly by taking a 2-0 lead after the first two innings - a run in each inning. Meyer scored Brown after his leadoff triple in the first, while Jake Tanner collected a RBI off his one-out single in the second.
After a pair of scoreless frames for both teams, Georgetown College cut the lead in half in the top of the fifth thanks to a lone run.
Up 2-1, USCB quickly advanced the lead to three thanks to a two-run fifth frame. Castro and Meyer each tallied hits, and Sellars plated his teammates off a bases-clearing double.Â
The Tiger offense started to wake up in the sixth, as it made the contest 4-3.Â
After a 1-2-3 bottom of the sixth, GC tied the contest and took its first lead, 5-4, of the afternoon from a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly.
USCB tried to mount a walkoff in the home half of the seventh but could only put one runner on base in the one-run loss.Â

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
Georgetown's offense carried its momentum over from the first game with six total runs in the first two innings.Â
USCB was able to chip away at the six-run deficit with a pair of runs in the bottom of the third. Sellars earned a run-scoring sac fly, and Russ smacked a RBI single.
The Tigers outscored the Sand Sharks in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings by three runs to make the contest, 12-5.Â
USCB tried to make the contest interesting in the bottom of the seventh with a rally but could only muster two runs to fall to GC by seven.
