HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED
After a scoreless first inning, Keiser opened the scoring in the top of the second when Priamo Lozada poked a RBI single to center.
In the bottom of the second, USCB had a chance to tie or take the lead when Thibodeaux and Meyer reached base safely. Despite both Sand Sharks reaching scoring position, they were left stranded.
After the scare, the Seahawks tacked onto their lead with a trio of runs in the third. With the three-run inning, KU took the 4-0 lead.
However, that lead quickly disappeared in the home half of the same frame. Ambrose and Leandy Castro started the inning with back-to-back walks, and Milhan forced the bases loaded with a single. To make it hurt, Russ annihilated a bases-clearing, three RBI double to left center to make it a one-run contest. On an unorthodox sacrifice fly, Humphrey scored Russ from second to knot the game at 4-all. USCB threatened to add to its big inning but left two runners stranded.
Just one inning later, USCB carried its offensive momentum to the fourth with a three-run inning. With two outs, Milhan was hit by a pitch, and Russ cracked a double down the right field line to put two runners in scoring position. Humphrey plated one on an infield single, and Thibodeaux followed with a run-scoring at-bat. For the third straight hit, Meyer connected with a RBI single to make the game 7-4, USCB.
The Seahawks made it a two-run contest, 7-5, when Tim Bouchard hit a leadoff homer in the top of the fifth.
Moving into the bottom of the sixth, the Sand Sharks tacked on an insurance run when Meyer slapped a RBI single with one out. The run-scoring hit advanced the lead back to three, 8-5.
Still at an 8-5 contest in the top of the eighth, the Seahawks put a lot pressure on the Sand Shark team when they worked the bases loaded with two outs. Perry worked out of the jam though with a ground out and preserved the three-run advantage.
Keiser tried to mount a comeback in the top of the ninth, but Perry stayed poised on the mound and left two Seahawks on base en route to sealing his fifth save of the year.
INSIDE THE GAME TWO BOX SCORE

HOW GAME TWO HAPPENED
Similar to game one, the Seahawks broke the scoreless tie early when they scored five runs in the first inning. Zach Mazur, Lozada and Anthony Catalano were the three Seahawks to collect run-scoring hits.
USCB cut into the deficit in the home half of the frame. Castro walked, and Milhan put runners at the corners on his single down the left field line. Russ grounded into a double play, which allowed Castro to touch home to make the game 5-1.
Dove, who came in relief in the first inning, mowed down the KU lineup. For the next two-plus innings, the right-handed pitcher allowed just one hit without a run to score. He kept the deficit at four to allow his team to chip back into the game.
In the bottom of the third, USCB did that by scoring two runs off three hits and a hit by pitch. Milhan started the rally with a single, and Thibodeaux was hit by a pitch to put two runners on base with two outs. Promptly, Meyer and Harper followed with back-to-back singles, which scored Milhan and Tanner (pinch ran for Thibodeaux) to make the contest 5-4.
After making it a one-run game, the Sand Sharks nearly tied and took the lead in the bottom of the fourth. USCB was able to work the bases loaded, but no Sand Sharks were able to touch home to keep the score at 5-4, Keiser.
Making it two straight innings, USCB was able to yet again force the bases loaded in the one-run game. However, Brown, Ambrose and Castro were left stranded.
Following several innings of leaving multiple runners on base, the Sand Sharks finally broke the trend in the bottom of the sixth with a crooked number - eight runs off five hits, three walks and one hit by pitch. Meyer tied the game up with his infield, run-scoring single, and Tanner later scored on a wild pitch to give USCB its first lead of the game, 6-5. Brown broke the game open with a two RBI single up the middle to advance the lead to three. After a pitching change, Milhan poked a run-scoring single, and Russ capped off the long inning with a towering three-run blast to left field. His homer was his seventh on the year, which is second-best on the USCB squad. The eight-run inning made the game 12-5.
The Seahawks cut into the deficit in the top of the seventh with a pair of runs. With the two-run inning, the lead was trimmed to five, 12-7.
After Ambrose added to the lead in the bottom of the seventh, KU made it a tightly-contested game in the top of the eight when Mazur hit a two-run homer to make it a 13-9 contest.
However, USCB matched the No. 24 team in the country with a pair of runs in the home half of the same inning. The Sand Sharks' two runs came off the bat of Tanner when he snuck a two RBI double down the right field line. The extra-base knock made the game 15-9.
Despite running into minor trouble in the ninth, Payton MacPherson sealed the doubleheader sweep for USCB with the nightcap win of 15-10.
