HOW GAME ONE HAPPENED

GGC's offense worked quickly by plating three runs off five hits to take the early three-run lead.

The Sand Sharks left two on base in the bottom of the third when Hampleton and Walker each tallied infield hits. However, they wouldn't be able to touch home.

After scoreless fourth and fifth innings, Georgia Gwinnett posted a crooked number by plating five runs to pull ahead by eight.

The Sand Sharks tried to mount a rally by putting two on base, but the Grizzlies worked out of the jam to seal the 10-2 win.
