USCB drops contest to SCSU

BLUFFTON -- After a hard fought battle against North Georgia on Tuesday the Sand Sharks were right back on the pitch against South Carolina State, but the outcome was the same, dropping a 1-0 contest to the Bulldogs Wednesday. 

The game was scoreless through the first half with SCSU out shooting USCB 8-5. The Bulldogs' Kayla Moses scored in the 73rd minute, making it 1-0 and the Sand Shark's offense couldn't push across the equalizer before time expired. 

Beaufort returns to Peach Belt action on Saturday traveling to in-state rival USC Aiken for a 1 pm.m kickoff.
