Baseball blanked in non-conference finale

PEMBROKE -- USCB dropped its non-conference finale to UNC Pembroke Wednesday afternoon to a score of 19-0. 

Beaufort mustered just three hits against the Braves which came from Mack Cromer, John Leland, and Hudson Morgan. 

It was a bullpen game for the Sand Shark's pitching staff as seven pitchers made an appearance during the midweek finale. Carson Tillotson (0-1) opened for USCB and gave up six runs, two of them earned on five hits during his single inning of work. 

The Sand Shark's postseason hopes are on the line this weekend as they'll travel up to USC Aiken for a three game series beginning on Saturday. Beaufort needs to win the series in order to punch their ticket to the Peach Belt tournament.
