Neal jumps two spots on final day, USCB finishes 11th

MCCORMICK -- McLain Neal carded a 4-over final round and Camila Giordani put together a strong performance in her second collegiate tournament finishing 16-over for the tournament as USCB finished 11th at the Savannah Lakes Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
Neal sat at 8-over after the first 18 holes but rattled off a 3-under back nine in the second round to sit at 10-over after day one. The junior carded two birdies in the final round to finish 14-over.

Giordani led USCB through the first two rounds and sat at 8-over par. She picked up one birdie on the par three fourth in the final round to finish with a 79. Jennifer Larsson finished at 20-over and Jessica Edwards at 22-over. Gudrun Birna-Snaeporsdottir rounded out the Sand Sharks lineup with a 79 overall finish.

The Sand Sharks will take a one-week break before returning to the links at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial Tournament hosted by North Georgia on Oct. 7.
