The Nighthawks extended their lead to 5-1 in the third inning, but USCB came roaring back in the sixth. Joe Turner and Carson Weathers ignited the offense with back-to-back doubles, helping plate three runs to cut the deficit to one at 5-4.

Despite the momentum, North Georgia struck again in the eighth, tacking on four more runs to take a commanding 9-4 lead. USCB refused to go down quietly, launching a thrilling four-run rally in the bottom of the ninth, including an RBI double from Luke Doty and a clutch single RBI single from Turner. Noah Campbell's RBI groundout was sandwiched between the two base knocks which put pressure on the Nighthawks. However, with the tying run on base, North Georgia closed out the game with a strikeout to seal the narrow victory.

The nightcap began with North Georgia maintaining their offensive rhythm, scoring in each of the first two innings to take an early 4-0 lead. Turner once again provided a spark for the Sand Sharks, launching a solo home run to left field to put USCB on the board.

The Sand Sharks made it a one-run game in the sixth, scoring twice to pull within 4-3. However, North Georgia methodically extended their lead with single runs in the seventh and eighth before Ard capped off his stellar day with his second three-run homer, putting the game out of reach at 9-3.

USCB had a final chance in the bottom of the ninth, putting their first two batters on base with back-to-back singles. However, the Nighthawks' pitching came through in the clutch, striking out the next three batters to end the game and complete the doubleheader sweep.
