BLUFFTON, SOUTH CAROLINA — The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's basketball team has won three consecutive games to start the new calendar year of 2026. Kilminster was rewarded this week by being named Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week. The Sand Sharks are now 11–4 on the season with a 5–3 conference record after earning wins over Clayton State, Flagler College, and Columbus State. He finished with a weekly average of 15 points, 9.5 rebounds, five assists, and 2.5 steals per game.
The Sand Sharks opened the week with a home win over Flagler College, Kilminster played 40 minutes in the overtime win, connecting on five field goals, including the tying basket in regulation to send the game into overtime. He then hit the game-winning shot at the buzzer to secure the 83–82 victory. Kilminster finished with a double-double, scoring 18 points while pulling down 14 rebounds and dishing out five assists.
