NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia – The University of South Carolina Beaufort men's track and field team closed out the indoor portion of the seaosn and was represented by Aiden O'Neil on Sunday at the Christopher Newport University Last Chance Meet, held at the Freeman Center.

Competing in the pole vault, O'Neil delivered his best performance of the season for the Sand Sharks, securing a second-place finish overall in the event. He cleared a season-best height of 4.62 meters, surpassing his previous mark of 4.55 meters set earlier this year at the Visit Gainesville Indoor Classic.

The Last Chance Meet closes off the indoor season as the Sand Sharks now turn to the outdoor season, which begins on March 20th.
