ATLANTA, GEORGIA – The University of South Carolina men's track and field team had three athletes compete in the Emory Qualifier on Wednesday afternoon in their final meet before the NCAA Championship meets in Emporia, Kansas.
Aiden O'Neil placed third overall in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.50 meters.
Next for the Sand Sharks was Cameron Edwards, who competed in two events at the meet hosted by Emory University. In the triple jump, Edwards recorded a mark of 13.62 meters to finish second overall. Edwards also competed in the long jump, where he placed fourth overall with a mark of 7.02 meters.
Channing Robinson competed in the high jump for the Sand Sharks, finishing second overall with a mark of 2.05 meters.
The Emory Twilight Qualifier concluded the regular season for the Sand Sharks. Next up is the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. Selections for the 2026 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be revealed on Tuesday, May 12th .
