Amilio is the son of Angela and Randy Carter of Conway, SC.  He was born on June 26, 1990.  He was a Horry County Champion in the 3200  in track  and is the school record holder in the 800, 1600, 3200, 4 x 400 and 4 x 800 at Carolina Forest High School.
