JEKYLL ISLAND/ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. - Both the USCB men's and women's golf teams are rested and prepared, as both clubs will conclude the fall portion of its 2020-21 season on Monday at the two-day Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational.

Men's Golf - Webber Fall Classic
Jacob Thomas had the best individual finish for the Sand Sharks at the Webber Fall Classic, as the junior placed top 5 at the two-day tournament. He carded an even-par 216 (70-72-74) at the three-day outing.
Seniors Dawson Peters and Tyler Fox rounded out the top 15 placements for USCB on the individual leaderboard. Peters etched a 9-over 225 (76-73-76) en route to finishing 13th. Fox inked a 10-over 226 (75-73-78), as he finished in a three-way tie for 14th.
Tristin Galant and Turner Wegener finished behind one another in tied for 20th and 22nd place, respectively.
As a team, USCB finished in the middle of the pack at tied for third. USCB posted a 30-over 894 in the three-round tournament.
Women's Golf - Tri-Match vs. Coastal Georgia and The Citadel
Sophomore Kayla Ramsey and freshman Ashleigh Mead paced the Sand Sharks at the one-day, two-round outing at Jekyll Island, Ga. Both Sand Sharks added a top-5 finish to their resume, as Ramsey finished tied for third and Mead placed tied for fifth. Ramsey collected a 15-over 159 (79-80), and Mead shot a 17-over 161 (78-83) at the tri-match.
Alejandra Rodriguez also earned a top-10 honor with her eighth-place finish. The sophomore collected a 25-over 169.
As a team, USCB finished in third place at the two-round outing.
About the 9th Annual Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational
Both Sand Shark programs will be competing at the 9th Annual Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational, but the men's tournament will be held at Sea Palms on St. Simons Island, Ga., while the women's tournament will be hosted at Pine Lakes in Jekyll Island.
Both outings will be two days in length and begins on Oct. 26. The final round will be held on Oct. 27.
Results from the outing will be posted at uscbathletics.com following the conclusion of the tournament.
