ST. AUGUSTINE, FLORIDA — The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's golf team closed out the Peach Belt Conference Tournament on Tuesday afternoon with the final round of the three-day event. The Sand Sharks finished fifth overall, highlighted by McLain Neal's fifth-place finish, which earned her a spot on the Peach Belt All-Tournament Team.
Flagler claimed the team title, while Mackenzie Connell of North Georgia earned individual medalist honors.
McLain Neal led the Sand Sharks with a three-round total of 230 after carding a 78 in the final round. She recorded five birdies—tied for third-most in the tournament—and added 32 pars on her way to All-Tournament Team recognition.
London Eneas tied for 19th overall with a total of 244, highlighted by her best round of 77 in the final round. She finished the tournament with four birdies and 27 pars.
Camila Giordani placed 21st overall with a three-round total of 246, posting her best round of 81 in the final round. She recorded two birdies and 25 pars.
Manon Tortelier also finished tied for 21st with a total of 247, improving her score each round and closing with a 78. She tallied one birdie and 24 pars during the tournament.
Anna Grace Brown placed 24th overall with a total score of 250 after carding an 84 in the final round. She finished with three birdies and 24 pars.
The Sand Sharks wrapped up the conference championship with a fifth-place finish, while McLain Neal's top-five performance secured her a place on the All-Tournament Team.
