JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. - Sophomore Kayla Ramsey paced the USCB women's golf team on Monday, as the Sand Shark team competed at the ninth annual Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational at the Pine Lakes Golf Club.
Day One Highlights
Ramsey led the women's golf team in the first round, as she collected a 6-over 78 outing. She is currently in a five-way tie for 12th and is just one stroke away from moving into the top 10.
Alejandra Rodriguez had the second-best day for USCB, as the fellow sophomore is tied for 30th.
Ashleigh Mead rounded out the finishes for the Sand Sharks, as the rookie golfer is in a five-way tie for 32nd.
What's Next?
The women's golf team will conclude its fall portion of 2020-21 season on Tuesday, as it will play the second and final round of the Coastal Georgia Fall Invitational.
