BLUFFTON, S.C. - After a three-tournament fall schedule, USCB women's golf announced its 2021 spring slate on Jan. 8, 2021, which features four local tournaments. 

Kicking off the season will be a local tournament, which is joint hosted by USCB and NCAA DI member Cincinnati. The Sand Sharks and Bearcats are co-hosting the three-day tournament at a Lowcountry course - Old South Golf Links - from Jan. 30-31. 

After a three-week break, women's golf will compete in a NCAA DII event - 2021 Battle at Hilton Head - from Feb. 22-23. The two-day tournament is held at Palmetto Dunes' Robert Trent Jones Course, which is one of a few courses on Hilton Head Island that has a hole that backs up to the ocean.

The Sand Sharks will compete in another NCAA DI tournament, as they will travel to Hilton Head Island again to compete at the Lowcountry Intercollegiate - hosted by Wofford on March 13-14. The Sand Sharks were slated to compete in this tournament last year, but that outing was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 

To conclude the regular season, women's golf will host the Oldfield Intercollegiate. The tournament will be two days in length and will be held at USCB's home course - Oldfield Golf Club. The outing begins on March 27 and concludes the following day. 

To open postseason action, the Sand Sharks will travel out of state for the first time in 2021, as they will travel to Daytona Beach, Fla. for the Sun Conference Championship from May 2-4. The three-day tournament will be held at LPGA International. The Sun Conference Tournament wasn't held last year due to cancelling the season, but at the 2019 postseason tournament, USCB placed fourth, while Vanessa Schloo and Porta posted top-12 finishes individually.
