BLUFFTON, S.C. - For the first time in his USCB career, freshman Christofer Hammar was named the Continental Athletic Conference's Golfer of the Week following his outing the Spring Skyhawk Invitational.

Hammar led the Sand Sharks at the Spring Skyhawk Invitational, as he finished fourth out of 56 golfers. In fact, it was his first career top-5 finish in a Sand Shark uniform and his second top-10 placement. He opened the tournament with a 2-over 74 and even-par 72 scores and concluded the outing with a 2-over 74 score. Overall, he shot a 4-over 220 score. 

Hammar and the Sand Sharks will return to the links at USCB's lone home event of the year the Monument Golf Oldfield Invitational. The home outing will be held from March 27-28 at Oldfield Golf Club.
