BLUFFTON, S.C. - To cap off the sweep of the weekly golfer awards from the Continental Athletic Conference, junior Ashleigh Mead was tabbed the CAC's Golfer of the Week for her performances at the Battle at Hilton Head and the Monument Golf Oldfield Intercollegiate. 

Mead kicked off her spring season with a tied for seventh finish at the Battle at Hilton Head. She shot a 5-over 149 at the two-day, two-round tournament. She went 1-over 73 in the first round followed by a 4-over 76 performance.

In the second spring tournament of the year, Mead finished in sixth place out of 65 golfers at USCB's home event of the year - the Monument Golf Oldfield Intercollegiate. She posted an 8-over 224 score with her second round, 1-over 73 score headlining the tournament performance. 

Mead and the USCB women's golf team returns to action on March 17-19 at the DI Lowcountry Intercollegiate, which is hosted by Wofford at Moss Creek.
