RESULTS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - After a busy Friday of competition for USCB at the Spikes Classic, the USCB men's and women's outdoor track and field teams only had a handful of Sand Sharks compete on Saturday to conclude action at the two-day meet.
Field Highlights
Sophia Stalford was the lone USCB athlete in the women's shot put. She posted a mark of 8.32m, which slotted her in 22nd place. She also threw in the women's discus and made a heave of 25.07m.
Track Highlights
After earning a berth to the women's 100m hurdles finals, LeeAisha Ford and De'Andra Brown finished in sixth and seventh place, respectively. Ford posted a 16.59, while Brown clocked a 16.90.
Ford also competed in the women's 400mH finals. The rookie Sand Sharks earned a bronze medal in the event with a mark of 29.98.
On the men's side of the 400m hurdles, Augustis Frasier competed. He finished ninth out of 14 runners with time of 1:00.80.
What's Next?
The Sand Sharks will continue its busy three-week stretch with another meet on April 8 when they return to the University of South Carolina to participate in the USC Invite.
