Stevenson paces USCB’s quintet at Sand Shark Invite

HARDEEVILLE -- Cydney Stevenson finished 36th overall averaging a sub seven-minute mile time, posting a time of 21:38.6 as USCB placed in 11th out of the 15 teams competing at the 17th Annual Sand Shark Invitational Saturday morning.

Kate Curry posted a personal best with a time of 23:03.4 while Aniah Wright and Sofia Mejia finished two-tenths of second next to each other with times of 8:16.6 and 8:17.0. De"Andra Brown rounded out the Sand Sharks quintet with a time of 33:23.8.

USCB will compete this weekend at the Upstate Invite hosted by USC Upstate in its final tune up before heading to Gainesville, Georgia on Oct. 26 for the Peach Belt Conference Championships.
